Jr. NBA Youth Basketball League – $180

Due to the Shelter-In-Place guidelines by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, we are waiting to determine a start date for the Jr. NBA Basketball Program.  Please check back with us as we will provide updates periodically.  Thank you for your patience.  Be safe and stay healthy!

Draft Day:  Saturday March 28, 2020 TBD

Ages 7-8          9:00 am

Ages 9-11        11:30 am

Ages 12-14      2:00 pm

Registration Ends:  Wednesday April 1, 2020 TBD

League Duration:  April 11 – June 20, 2020 TBD

This 10-week league focuses on teaching the basic fundamentals of basketball while developing teamwork skills, building confidence, and improving player development. All youth ages 7-14 are welcome to attend. The DRAFT is held at the New St. Mark Family Life Center, located at 24331 W. Eight Mile Rd, Detroit, MI 48219.  Practices are held once a week at the New St. Mark Family Life Center. Games are held on Saturdays at the Beech Woods Recreation Center. Participants receive a uniform jersey, trophy and fair playing time. Youth must be registered to participate in the Draft.  Practice day and time will be determined on Draft Day.  There are no refunds after Draft Day.

Jr. NBA Youth Clinic – $90

Clinic Duration:  May 2 – June 13, 2020 TBD

Time: 3:00 – 4:00 pm

This 6-week clinic focuses on teaching basketball fundamentals for younger players ages 5-6 in an effort to help prepare them for the Jr. NBA League. Participants receive a t-shirt, certificate and award. Dates to be determined.
