Maryland House Speaker Adrienne A. Jones (D-Baltimore County) is ready to dismantle racist policies that disenfranchise the Black family.
“If we strengthen the Black and Brown community, it makes a stronger economy for everyone — everyone benefits,” Jones said.

Currently, Jones is proposing a ‘Black Agenda’ – a plan designed to address inequalities in health, wealth, and homeownership. She has received feedback from other Maryland Senate leaders as well, proposing the plan also includes a look into racial equity, environmental justice, and ways to bridge economic gaps.
